TRAINEE
SPECIFICATION :
Experienced
existing forklift truck staff, engineers, inspectors and
surveyors who have regularly driven fork lifts in the carrying
out of their duties.
AIM
:
To provide
a 2 day course to update the knowledge and skills required
to operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently in accordance
with the Health & Safety 1999 Approved Code of Practice
to include and conduct the RTITB Ltd Practical ( to low
& eye level ), theoretical and pre shift inspection
tests and issue a certificate and license to successful
trainees.
The
use of inspection log books, battery/charger/bay care procedures
and deration calculations for extended load centres and
attachments and identification of load plate techniques
are important elements of this course.
